Getting Here
Your guide to making it to Catalonia (and making the most of the trip)
From Barcelona Airport (BCN / El Prat)
Barcelona El Prat is the main international airport serving the region.
Option 1 — Rent a car: Rental companies are right at the airport. Take the C-31/C-33 motorway north toward Caldes de Montbui. About 40–50 minutes to the venue depending on traffic.
Option 2 — Public transport: Take the Aerobus or metro to Barcelona, then a Rodalies train (R3 line from Passeig de Gracia or Sants) toward Vic. Get off at Caldes de Montbui station (about 50 minutes from Sants). A taxi from the station to the venue is a short ride.
From Barcelona City Centre
By car: Take the C-33 motorway north from Barcelona, then the C-59 toward Caldes de Montbui. About 30–40 minutes depending on traffic — avoid Friday afternoon if you can.
By train: Rodalies R3 line from Passeig de Gracia or Sants toward Vic — get off at Caldes de Montbui. Runs regularly, about 50 minutes. From the station, a short taxi ride to the venue.
Wedding Day Minibus
We're organising minibuses from Barcelona to the venue and back on the wedding day. Details are still being confirmed — we'll update this page and let everyone know once it's sorted.
Getting Back
If you're planning to enjoy the open bar (and you should), sort out your return transport before the wedding day. We'll have minibuses running back to Barcelona, or you can arrange a taxi or coordinate with other guests to share a ride back to local accommodation.

Things to See & Do
You're travelling to one of Spain's most beautiful regions. We strongly encourage arriving a day or two early (or staying after) to explore.
Caldes de Montbui
The venue's home town — one of the oldest thermal spa towns in Europe. The hot springs in the town centre have been used since Roman times. Wander the old town, dip your feet in the thermal fountains, and enjoy a leisurely lunch. A lovely low-key base.
Montserrat
The iconic mountain monastery, about 45 minutes from Caldes de Montbui. Genuinely spectacular, sacred, and full of hikers. Take the cable car up.
Penedes Wine Region
This is cava country. Wineries like Codorniu and Freixenet offer tours, and the villages are gorgeous. About an hour from the venue.
Barcelona
Obviously. Just 30 minutes south by car or train. Two days minimum: Gaudi (Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Batllo), Gothic Quarter, La Boqueria, and as much Catalan food as you can manage.
Sitges
A beautiful coastal town known for its beaches, architecture, and relaxed vibe. About an hour from the venue. Perfect for a day by the sea.
