Getting Here
Andreina & Grant · May 21, 2027
We can't wait to celebrate with you. Here's everything you need to find your way to Barcelona, wherever in the world you're coming from.
Wedding day bus
We'll be running a few small buses from the city centre to Torre Sever on the day of the wedding, so once you're in the city, we've got you covered. The bus will depart at 4:30pm and the journey takes around 30 minutes, arriving in time for the ceremony at 5:00pm. Pick-up point details coming soon.
Flying into Barcelona
Barcelona El Prat Airport has two terminals, 4km apart. Your terminal depends on your airline, check your booking before you travel.

Vueling, Iberia, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa & most major carriers.
T2 Budget carriers
Ryanair, EasyJet, Wizz Air & most low-cost European routes.
Arriving by train
Coming from Madrid or elsewhere in Spain? You'll likely arrive at Estació de Sants, Barcelona's main train station, well connected to the rest of the city by metro.

Getting around Barcelona
Barcelona's public transport is great. Here's which ticket to buy for your stay.
T-Casual €13.00 (recommended for most guests)
10 trips on metro, bus, and tram. Valid for one person. Perfect for a short stay of 1–3 days.
T-Familiar €11.05 (great for families & groups)
8 trips on metro, bus, and tram shared between multiple people. One person taps in, passes the card back, and the next person follows. Ideal for couples or small groups making a few journeys.
T-Usual €22.80 (longer stays)
Unlimited travel on metro, bus, and tram for 30 consecutive days. Also covers the airport metro line (L9 Sud). Note: you'll need a DNI or NIE number to register for this one.

⚠️ The T-Casual and T-Familiar are not valid for the airport metro (L9 Sud). If you plan to use the metro directly from the airport, you'll need a separate Airport Ticket (€5.90 each way), or simply take the Aerobús instead, which requires no extra ticket.
Tickets are available at vending machines in every metro station, including Sants. Machines accept cash and card, and offer menus in English and Spanish.

Renting a car
If you'd prefer the flexibility of having your own car, especially useful if you're planning to explore beyond Barcelona, renting a car is a straightforward option. Cars are available at both T1 and T2 at the airport, and if you're arriving by train, Sants station also has several major rental companies inside the building, including National, Enterprise, Avis, and Europcar, all located next to each other at the back of the station. The drive from Barcelona city centre to Torre Sever takes around 30 minutes.
A few things to keep in mind: most rentals in Spain are manual transmission, so request automatic in advance if needed. Parking in central Barcelona can be tricky and expensive, so we'd recommend picking up the car on the wedding day itself rather than keeping it in the city throughout your stay. Most metered areas of the city are free at weekends, which works in your favour for the wedding day. Torre Sever has free parking available on site.
Please note that if you're driving to the wedding, you won't be able to drink, so the bus might be the better choice for those who want to celebrate freely!
