Barcelona has something for every taste and budget. May is peak season so book early. The main thing is being close to a metro stop, makes getting to the wedding bus pick-up much easier.

Central, easy to navigate, good food everywhere. A safe bet if it's your first time in Barcelona and you want to be close to everything.

Our favourite for visitors. Good restaurants, nice atmosphere, very walkable. You'll feel like you're actually in Barcelona here.

More residential and relaxed, with a real neighbourhood feel. Great squares, local bars, quieter streets. Easy to get into the centre by metro.

Up in the hills, genuinely feels like a village. Very peaceful, local bakeries, lovely pace. Connected to the city by FGC train, good shout if you'd rather wake up somewhere calm.

Right in the old town, very atmospheric. Can get noisy at night so check reviews before booking if you're a light sleeper.

Where we live, so if you want to be close to us, this is your spot. Mostly residential, very local, not many tourists. Good metro connections and a lovely neighbourhood market.

Worth browsing Airbnb for apartments or Booking.com for the full picture, hotels, guesthouses, and apartments across all neighbourhoods. Especially handy if you're travelling as a family or group.
